excellent 2oon today!

especially that mrbigstick fellow. i'm quite fond of his work.

an excellent movie!

good work on this movie. i liked the way that the animation quality got better as it goes on.
theres a few people on NG who vote based on the first few seconds, and that's pretty much the only thing you got to worry about when it comes to the score of this movie.
the visuals weren't stunning, but very impressive with excellent, smooth Frame by frame animation, and style up the wazoo.

the animation went very well with the music, which was also very appropriate for this kind of movie, which is my favorite kind, the one that you see for a few seconds and not be impressed, but then it picks up and improves as it goes on, and in fact, i've made several movies like this, and it's a good way to show off your various techniques without worrying about sticking to a story or anything, just jam with the music and animate what comes to mind. that's what i did with peeeeeepers and IMRPG intro, which were very fun to make, and are usually the first ones i show to people who ask about my animations.

sexy 2oon.

buisness as usual.

great work. i love this crayon style flash. keep up the good work!

heh. cute.

that was a simply adorable flash that put me in the mood for a quick nap. if that was your intention, it worked. goodnight!

Madelief responds:

Thank you so much!!
Now you can play this everytime you need a nap ;)

i see the apparent influence of your brother.

i learned flash by collaborating with my brother as well, but it took a lot of practice and patience to come up with my own style, which is something i suggest you do because i see a lot of potential in this, even if it is just a stretch and squish squiggle FBF movie. it's a good start, but don't be afraid to experiment with all the flash techniques you can get your hands on, and maybe you can invent a few tricks that you can either keep to yourself or share with a select few.

explore all aspects of flash and it'll be more fun and the movies will be a lot easier to make.

Murch responds:

lol, i havent done an FBF collab, but that sounds like a good idea :P. Ill keep all those points in mind. thanks for the great review :).

better than legendaryfrog.

you probably take that as a compliment as i can see that your style is heavily inspired by a person who is a mediocore animator at best, and those who call him a writer should also call him a thief, or completely average if you put all of that together.
so this movie is passable but i'm not gonna be surprised or upset if it gets blammed.

boxes and sqiggles.

there's already a million flashes like this, and with good reason: they make excellent practice.

as much as i love frame by frame animation, i personally feel this could have been executed way better.

if i was to teach a flash class, one of the assignments would be box and squiggle fbf on computers that have no games or internet access.

i'd start out with a runthrough of the tools, basic static drawings and actionscript lessons, then preloaders, then tweens, shape and motion, then frame by frame motion, with more than just simple shapes, then a game, with manuals passed out to recreate basic arcade games, then an independant assignment which is to be done in any method,
and the final lesson would be to make at least a minute long animation with all animation techniques reviewed.

then various tests which involve correcting premade actionscript errors

nexttime you make FBF try experimenting with animating humans, animals, and everyday structures as you see them.

thank you for a brief moment of entertainment, i expect to see good things from you sooner or later.

Urcleman responds:

This was my first piece of work, and although I had a few glitches throughout, I am pleased with the result. Hopefully with my next piece of work, I will attempt to include action-scripting and proper animation to make something more cohert with people's interest...

pretty solid daily2oon today.

first of all, good choice of music for the menu. the ramones RAWK.
now let's get down to business.

F00D: that's a fairly accurate anime parody. these anime nerds who have been voting 0 because of the blatant mockery of thier choice of entertainment, (or sexual preference in the case of shin2k27) have no sense of humor outside of slapstick and facefalls after someone says something stupid which drives home the "punchline".

FiveStar: really good. it reminded me of dragonball for some reason.
probably because in my early internet years, i've seen countless DBZ music videos use that same song or something just like it. perhaps it's a good thing that the computers at the local junior high school don't allow NG to load, and i hope it stays that way because kids are idiots on the internet.

which explains why this flash has a few negative reviews. kids who don't know what they like, or only like certain things and don't give new things equal chances.
